A friendly smile, pleasant conversation, and a drive to Make it Happen. Valon, the principal broker and owner of Link NY Realty came into the real estate industry with a goal to help Clients sell their homes at the best price and help buyer’s find a place to call home. With thousands of completed transactions in his portfolio, he knows what it takes to make it happen.
Specializing in New York City, Westchester and Fairfield counties, Valon works closely with clients to ensure satisfaction. In order to do so Valon stays on top of real estate trends and markets to be able to obtain only the best. With the development of his growing company, and various other personal successes Valon believes he is the epitome of the “American Dream.” The road from refugee to Real Estate broker was full of many obstacles but his experiences throughout this journey have given him the drive, optimism, and perseverance he has today.
Our experiences guide us, shape us, and make us who we are. Valon found himself in New York City after being driven out of his home in Kosova, a tiny, war-torn country in South-Eastern Europe. After briefly living with his family at a refugee camp in Macedonia, they began to look for a safe place to call “Home”, He was accepted by the Red Cross and brought to Fort Dix, New Jersey. While at Fort Dix, Valon experienced the kindness and hospitality that is commonplace in America. This helpful and welcoming environment made Valon feel at home. This is where he would begin his journey towards the American Dream.
It is during this journey that Valon began working his way up to become a record-breaking sales Broker, with the sale of the late Dr. Maya Angelou’s property in Central Harlem. He was able to keep her properties occupied with little down-time, and able to sell with the best results.
Valon prides himself on his strong work ethic and persistence in not only getting the job done but making sure the client is satisfied with their experience. Valon has completed thousands of transactions during his time as a broker. He is also committed to advancing the real estate industry, as a whole. Valon volunteer's his time and contributes to many local community organizations. He is a board member of many community organizations.
